JOB FAIR 2010
Vendor registrations for the 10th annual job fair are now being accepted. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, April 13, 2010 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Yakima Convention Center. Employers should register now as space is limited. The cost is $100 per booth.
Worksource expects record attendance by qualified job seekers from all industries. Jean Brown, Worksource Business Services Manager explained, “Worksource has seen an unprecedented number of highly skilled workers coming though its doors. This is an opportunity for proactive employers to recruit exceptional talent in anticipation of the economic recovery.”
As in years past, a hospitality room will be hosted by the Greater Yakima Chamber of Commerce at its office next to the convention center. As well, volunteers from Job Corps will be on-hand to help employers transport supplies in and out of the Job Fair. New this year is the availability of job seeker workshops which will give job seekers the confidence to present their skills well to you.

The 2010 Job Fair is sponsored by Worksource Yakima, the South Central Workforce Development Council, the Greater Yakima Chamber of Commerce, and the City of Yakima. Sponsorships are available.
